What a price-drop alert does
Many purchases can wait a few weeks: a new phone, an AC before summer, a TV, a laptop for the next semester, even paint for a room. Prices move in that time — with the dollar rate, new model launches, sale seasons and stock clearances. A price-drop alert lets DAAM keep watching so you don’t have to check every day.
How to set one
- Sign in with Google. Alerts belong to your account.
- Ask DAAM about the product — for example, “Haier 1.5 ton DC inverter price”. Be specific about the variant so the alert watches the right thing.
- Tap “Alert me when cheaper” on the answer card.
- That’s it. You can see and remove alerts on the Alerts page, and new notifications appear under the bell in the header.

DAAM’s alerts are deliberately strict, so the ones you get are worth opening:

What alerts are not
An alert is not a prediction. DAAM doesn’t forecast prices or tell you to wait; it tells you, with evidence, when a verified seller is asking less than before. If you need the item now, check the current market range and the cheapest verified offer and decide on today’s facts.
There is also a limit on how many alerts each account can keep active, so remove ones you no longer need from the Alerts page. Alerts store only the product, the city (for city-priced items) and the price when you set it.
A simple routine
- Ask DAAM about the item and note the market range today.
- If your budget is below the cheapest verified offer, set an alert.
- When an alert arrives, open it — the notification links to the product and the seller — and check it is still in stock.
